BABY HYACINTH MACAWS

Due to my health I have restricted my Hyacinth breeding for the time being

Please come back now and then to see if I have baby Hyacinths available.

I have a few odds and ends of parrot stuff available. There are a bunch of stainless steels and ceramic and aluminum bowls, some toys and their parts to make toys,  a new small net, a new small cooler for transporting baby parrots. I have quite a few clean and either new or like new concrete perches for large parrots.  I'm sure I will find some other things that need to go also.

I also have 3 gallons of professional Vet disinfectant. Both Novasan and Kennelsol.

Looking for automatic watering system nipples? I have about 10 available, some of which are brand new.

I don't need so many supplies anymore so its time to pass them along.....cheap.

You may find photos of some of the beautifull macaws I've produced at my facebook "Premium Parrots" page.

Hyacinth Macaw Breeder Pair.
SOLD!!  I have finally decided that I am ready to part with this great pair of Hyacinth Macaw breeders.  I just won't have room for them when I move. They are both about 25 years old and have been together most of their life and making babies.  They have given me babies just about every year that I have had them.  Usually I get at least one baby a year from them,   I have gotten as many as 3 babies a year from this pair.  Thats a pretty good record for Hyacinth Macaws.  They take great care of their babies and I usually remove the babies from the nest at about 3 to 4 weeks of age,  then I handfeed them untill weaned.  This is a very large pair,  they are not tame,  they are very quiet, and they are very healthy.  They prefer to be left alone with each other.  I will only sell them to a good home where the owner knows how to keep Hyacinth Macaws properly.  Those of you that know me probably already know that I have some health problems and that I've been selling off my stock.  I already sold 9 pairs of Hyacinths and I was never going to sell this pair but I see that it is time.  I really hate to part with them as they are probably my best pair.

One Rubalina Macaw female.  SOLD!!  aprox 8 years old max., this was one of my babies and was hatched here. She was sold as a pet but ended up coming back to me a few years ago. She has just started laying eggs so she can be a breeder or a pet. To be a pet she would need very little work. She has quite the personality. Shes in great shape. I have her DNA papers and she is close banded. I know her hatch date and she can talk. She has been with a mate for a few months and has laid eggs twice but her mate had a stroke and its questionable as to whether he can "do the job" anymore.  She is still available.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE RUBALINA MACAW SPECIES

The Rubalina macaws are very rare, at this time I know of only about 12 that have ever been produced worldwide. I produced all but 2. I was the first to breed them and give them the name Rubalina. With the genes this bird has I would highly suggest that she be bred with any male blue and gold macaw. Her parents had good yellow and breeding this Rubalina back to a blue and gold would give you babies that surely will be colorfull and you never know where the yellow will show up being bred with a blue and gold. Yea, its an experiment and I've put years into getting a Rubalina old enough to breed. I can't continue because of my health so I am willing to let her go to someone that will breed her with the proper male. Blue and gold males are a dime a dozen right now. If you are a parrot breeder it is well worth the cage space to put them together to see what you get. When she does produce live babies they will certainly be the only macaw of its kind in existance. Then you will have to figure out and put a name to this new macaw species.  EVERY BABY WILL HAVE A DIFFERENT COLOR PATTERN AND COLORS.   EACH BABY SHOULD HAVE QUITE A BIT OF YELLOW.  THE MYSTERY IS WHERE?  Also,   she wants to go to nest now so she is ready to go. I had to take the nestbox away.   Update; Since I first posted the above info several other parrot breeders have attempted to breed for Rubalina macaws.  Some are successful,  some not.  But my guess is that there are a few more Rubalina macaws out there at this time.

One Scarlet Macaw male, aprox 20 years old, had a stroke a few years ago. I've had him since he was a baby..... SOLD!!

One Camelot Macaw male, aprox 3-4 years old, this was one of my babies.....SOLD!!

I only breed the Hyacinths macaws now due to my health issues.  I usually have babies available year round.  Remember its best to do your research and plan far ahead when looking for a quality Hyacinth macaw.  For more information and prices contact me with your phone number at  premiumparrots@comcast.net

Sorry I have placed all my baby Hyacinth Macaws in homes

Hyacinth babies are very difficult to handfeed, wean and raise.  I refuse to put the welfare of my babies in jeopardy,  therefore I refuse sell unweaned Hyacinths.

NOTICE..... IF YOU NEED MORE INFORMATION YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR PHONE NUMBER SO WE CAN TALK PERSONALLY. FOR SECURITY AND OTHER REASONS I WILL ONLY GIVE INFORMATION ABOUT MY PARROTS OR MYSELF WHEN WE SPEAK PERSONALLY. I'd love to chat with you.

I CAN ONLY SHIP PARROTS WITHIN THE USA. I CAN NOT SHIP PARROTS TO OTHER COUNTRIES.
Please don't ask.

As some of you know I have had some serious health problems the last few years.  Per doctors orders I have recently sold out all of my breeder birds except all my Hyacinth macaws.   I will continue to breed the Hyacinth macaws as long as my health permits.  Thanks to all of the good people that are careing for the breeder birds that I had to part with.  Please take good care of them.

PROVEN PAIRS OF HYACINTH MACAWS ALL ARE SOLD!!

I thought this would never happen.  The new facilities that I am moving to is not large enough to properly house all my Hyacinth breeders so I am parting with 9 pairs.  Also,  9 additional pairs is just too much work for me now.  I'm only keeping a few of my very best pairs of Hys.  But sadly, one day they will have to go too.
